"Yu Lung"
aka Yulong Santaizi
Also known as : Horse, Dragon, Jade dragon, White dragon horse, Son of the Dragon King of the Western Ocean, Yulong Santaizi,
From : The Western Ocean and then Falcon Grief Torrent.
Features : Pony tail, Can't change form on my own, Corny references to horsey things.
Weapon : Horse kick.
Skills : Horsing around.
Traits : Foolishness and reliance.
Favourite Phrase : 'What about me!'
Dislikes : Anything scary
Details : I'm a ferociouis white water Dragon, formerly of the Western ocean, where i was actually sentenced to death by my own father for setting fire to his great pearl, can you believe it? I was rescued by Guan Yin and took up residence in Falcon Grief Torrent. It was here where i had to wait for the band of adventurers to pass by, bound by faith to offer my services on their pilgrimage. I actually ate Tripitaka's horse when i felt a bit peckish, not on purpose, i didn't realise it was his. It wasn't until a suitably furious Monkey jumped into the water and kicked my butt (i'm sure he cheated!) That i realised who they were. Anyway, i did the decent thing and offered myself as the masters new steed - a trusty, but quite shy, talking horse! Quite handily i can change back into human form to help out in the odd demon-kicking. Though, truth be told, i'm not very tough in human or horsey form!
About the actor :
Yu –Lung was played by actor Shunji Fujimura. Born 8th December 1934 in Kamakura City, Kanagawa Prefecture. Shunji’s acting career has undergone something of a resurgence in recent years. His latest role being in "’Death Note - The Last Name", (Desu nôto), a November 2006 release in Japan.
Death Note Synopsis : Light Yagami is a brilliant, but bored, high school student who resents the crime and corruption in the world. His life undergoes a drastic change when he discovers a mysterious notebook, known as the "Death Note", lying on the ground in the year 2003. The Death Note's instructions claim that, if a human's name is written within it, that person shall die. Light is initially skeptical of the Death Note's authenticity, believing it is just a prank. However, after experimenting with it and killing two criminals, Light is forced to admit that the Death Note is real. After meeting with the previous owner of the Death Note, a Shinigami named Ryuk, Light seeks to become "the God of the new world" by passing his judgment on criminals.
The original film took $25 million in Japan in June, and the sequel took almost twice that ($43 million) in November. Based on the manga's popularity and the boyish-looking leads' femme appeal, business has been buoyant throughout Asia. In Hong Kong, it drew the highest first-day gross for a Japanese film in 10 years.
