Just to make sure that Monkey didn’t misbehave too much, Tripitaka put a magical Gold band around his head. If ever he started to get upto mischief, Tripitaka would whisper some secret words and the band would shrink a little causing Monkey to have terrible head aches. As powerful and clever as he was, he just couldn’t get this band off of his head, no matter how hard he tried. Luckily he soon learned his lesson, and was pretty well behaved…..most of the time.
